I saw a documentary on the Sundance channel, about the artist Spencer Tunick, taking pictures of people in the nude all across America, in celebration of the human body against a backdrop of quite varied landscapes and landmarks etc.

Also, maybe some of you saw her on David Letterman already, on the East coast... still can catch her on the West coast airing later tonight.

yeah she was on letterman last night.  I caught his show on Monday and he was talking about her and comparing her to janet jackson (which makes sense; if janet got into all sorts of trouble, why is this lady allowed to do that with no consequences) and Dave really wanted to get her on the show. then last night she was on the show.  She was very articulate but seemed a little arrogant. But what do I know?

I watched Letterman also, and saw Sharon. I hear you about her seeming a bit arrogant, but as I listened and watched her body language, I truly believe that she was shielding herself against any possible attitudes of disapproval that might have come from Letterman. I was trying to figure out why she was coming off that way too. But you must have seen that she would smile and tease Letterman throughout the interview, right? Basically, she seemed to have been prepared to brace herself, just "in case", y'know?

She got many great responses from people, as she had mentioned... BUT, if you read a few of those comments on the link I have there, some people are just plain CRUDE and DISGUSTING! But what I say to them, is that it shows who THEY are, and has not a thing to do with Sharon Reed.

She wished to do this story from the "first person", as you heard her say, and there's nothing "wrong" or "shameful" about it. Furthermore, this was an artistic photo, with thousands others in the picture. So why all the bashing toward Sharon alone? And even if she did pose by herself, so what! (not u wayshouse)

She is so articulate and confident. I agree. I admire that so much.

I didnt catch that show where Letterman compares Sharon to Janet Jackson. My thoughts on what happened with Janet, is that it was an accident. Period. So she shouldn't have been "in trouble" in the first place.

Therefore, the question has to be asked... wayshouse, why would you even suggest that Sharon Reed should suffer similar consequences?? For what exactly? She did nothing wrong.

1) she joined others in an ART PHOTO.

2) it's her body, her choice, and she felt it was another way to present the story, by reporting about it in the first person. That's great.

3) why in God's name do people get so uncomfortable and warped, when it comes to the human body? (and sex, but that happens to be another discussion, and for the record, this art project had nothing to do with sex any d amn way). (again, not cussin' at you wayshouse)
