Joyful Rebellion is one of the best Albums I have ever had the pleasure of purchasing. K-os is truly one of the most talented musicians out there right now and I really want to catch him live.

Now I live in NY and anything I've seen as far as tours go are all in Canada. Has K-os ever said anything about coming down to the US? I understand his album probally isn't selling that great down here considering how crappy this countries music tastes are, but if he came anywhere near NYC, I'd go to the concert in a heartbeat.

Also, how well does his album sell in Canada? I cn't even find his album on the Billboard 200 in the US so it's obviously doing Jack over here, but I hope it sells better in Canada.

please check the other threads before posting... there's another similar thread here:

welcome aboard! glad you're into his music!
btw the album is doing great for Canadian standards here... considering it's homegrown hip-hop!

it's a pity that k isn't doing as well down south... but the good thing is he's developing an "underground" following of sorts down there... over here he's quite well known.

I just got the new K-os alblum this evening (I live in California) It ROCKS! I don't think I've listened to better hip hop ever. I'm a huge music afficionado, and listen to everything! I've been extreemly turned off by 95% of current rap and hiphop. The same bad dirty south beats, bad themes (pimp'n, etc.) K-os is the exact oposite! Wonderful music! A little reggae, jazz, old school hip hop, scratching, you've got to love it!

I found out about his music from a video of B-Boy Stance that was playing in an American Eagle Outfitters in my local mall! I watched the entire video and found out who the artist was. I can't wait to buy Exit. I just need to save some cash!

I'd love to hear him live! As it appears he can actually sing and ryhm live, unlike most pop rappers who really can't sing and rely on beats, and digital sound editing to sound half decent.
