Ok - looking through the forums here there seems to be a hell of lot of posts questioning and ranting against problems, governmental policy’s, cultural practices religion and societies problems on the whole.

So my question is this:

Lets say all of us free thinkers out there were to get together and buy our own island and create a country of our own. (Now Id much rather see a world with no country’s, divisions and barriers - but just for now)
Then what principles, laws, social structure, religion governance etc etc would we want to be part of that country?

its totally open - no restrictions. ??

Ok to get us started I would like it to be a barter economy - no money - an exchange of skills or even better no need for barter at all - because we would just use our skills for each other because we can and we want to.

That is a tough question.

The first thing that comes to mind is a system like you said with no money. Once a person becomes of age, they pick a job that they would like to try and do it for free (as everyone does everything). All produce/services will also be free and distributed equally to everyone.

There is no heirarchical system, everyone lives by the simple system of working at what you're good at (and receive fullfilment from) and shares everything with the community.

All laws or policies are voted on by all members of the community who are at age.

Something else i've thought about:

If it were to be a hierarchical society then the president/prime minister would have to receive the minimun salary and have to live in equal conditions to the poorest member of the community. That way, it would only attract benevolent people who will be motivated to make things better.
